Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger

Caricature of Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger. I selected a reference photo of him in makeup from the second Nightmare on Elm Street film, Freddy's Revenge, as I felt his look in that particular movie was the most creepy. The makeup artist, Kevin Yagher, has mentioned that the approach was to make Freddy look like a "male witch" with a hook nose and long chin, and I think it really works. This was done with graphite on smooth bristol board. 11x14 inches.
